Regional House of Table Arts
Unique in France, this is the first museum dedicated entirely to our food, that of everyday life and that of festive tables. The Regional House of Table Arts offers everyone, Burgundians and friends passing through, a discovery or a rediscovery of this Art of the Table that the permanent haste does’t allow us to appreciate properly.
Since 1981, The Regional House of Table Arts, located in the former Saint-Pierre hospices (17th century), has been opening its doors for a 7-month exhibition organized around the essential elements of the art of living: food, gastronomy, delicacies … and tableware…
The Regional House of Table Arts was awarded the ‘Trophée culturel du Tourisme en Bourgogne’ in 2009. Faithful to its primary vocation of educating on domestic and everyday objects, the pieces of form that trace the history of the table arts.
